Hi guys,
I have started my next cross stitch project and I thought to keep motivated on it I could upload my progress on this blog. I find that with cross projects I start off with determination and then after a couple of weeks the project starts to be pushed to one side with other projects that I want to start. The last project of the Dragon I used filament and I had never used this before and I could not get to grips with it so it was put to one side. It was left for quite a while until I heard about thread heaven but I never got back to it until last year when it was a matter that I have to do it and I really didn’t want to be beaten by a cross stitch. So I unpicked the little patch I had done and started all over again. Same again I had about a 2 month gap on it until I could motivate myself.
So back to the original story………….I have started a new project and I am going to post my progress as I go along. I have to say that I have had this cross stich in my box for about 11 years. I actually bought this project to do for Jennifer when she was about 1 but I never got around to it………I know I am terrible…………. So to my first pictures…………
As you can see it is not a small project.
A closer look at the actually bit I have cross stitched.
I thought I would be brave a show a close up of the project.
Do you have a project on the go but can not motivate yourself to do it? You had a break from the project?
Why not upload your project onto your blog and let me know and we can motivate each other to keep going?
COME ON BE BRAVE!
