First parchment bookmark

Hi guys,

Well here is my very first parchment bookmark. The parchment is attached to the silver mirror board with the yellow ribbon.....yes it is silver not blue. Which reminds I really have to tip my house upside down to find the leads to my camera so I can get better quality pictures. Back to the bookmark, I then attached the silver mirror board to gold mirror board. Used my lovely corner cutters. It is really late so I had to fight with the crop-a-dile for the eyelet. I prefer to use the BANG BANG! ( hammer) more fun. Then just added more yellow ribbon and inserted it all into the plastic cover.

Hope you like this bookmark.

The sulk!

Hi guys,

In the previous post I made a desk calendar for my best mate. Well companies are cutting back and not giving the usual gifts away at Christmas and these are getting a bit thin on the ground. So my darling other half loved the calendar I made and asked for one (but not in pink.........yes I was tempted to his in pink). S of course I said yes, yes will do one. The sulk started and the nagging. Men say that women can nag well this is so untrue. This weekend I fnally got to sit down and do one for him......had to shut him up somehow.......

I had to put his name on it somewhere so that no one would take it. I made him a cross stitch coaster for his desk and it took a walk.

Easel cards

Hi guys,

I have seen the lovely easel cards and calendars that everyone is doing and well........I had to join in. My best friend is having a hard time at work at the moment and I wanted to do something for her so that she could at least smile once a day at work. So I made her a desk calendar.
I used the Smirk stamps and a parchment heart and of course the pink coloured papers that I have had in a cupboard for years.
I hope you like this.

Something new

HI guys,

I needed to do something for a mate at work and what do you buy for someone who has everything.? Sue is a very keen gardener so I wanted to do something with that theme and also she loves candles. Yes........the brain started to work even if it was for a couple of seconds. So I decided to try something new to me and that was to stamp on a candle.

So here is my atempt at stamping on a candle.

Duncan,s second project

HI Guys,

Duncan went crafting with me agian this week and decided to do a more difficult project and this is what he made. A cat mirror for me and I just love it.
I just have to find the perfect spot for it now. I have made some gentle hints at the fact that I could do with some nice glass light shades for the house.

Secret Crafter Challenge

Hi guys,

I wanted to use my favourite colour in this sketch for the Secret crafters sketch. Yes my favourite colour is purple. I used the armful of wishes from the Little Claire Designs. I love this stamp. Coloured with Whisper pens. The flowers were made from parchment and embossed to give a 3d effect with pink gems in the middle. For the sentiment I used my circle nesties and wrote just for you in the middle.

I hope you like and thanks for looking.

Allsorts Challenge

Hi guys,

I have done this for the Allsorts challenge and the rules is Halloween. I have to say I am not a halloween fan but I think I can make an exception for this lovely image. I received this digital image from Digital delights for entering one of their challenges last week. I just used whisper pens to colour him in and then layered him up on some black and deep red papers. I used the Boo! from the Daisy and Dandelion set with pink ink it up and then using red embossing powder.

Thanks for looking and let me know you have had a look by posting a comment.

The sketch above is the one to follow on Friday sketcher challenge this week. Below is what I did. I mainly used my Big shot for the cut and embossed heart and then again to cut the circles from nesties to make the flower. I just really enjoyed doing this card.
